Aviation History

Aviation History

Over the years, AHSA Members have been privileged to hear some of the most interesting people in aviation from Australia and around the world, speak at our monthly meetings.

The speakers give Members a first-hand account of their experiences and are a rare insight into some significant, and often overlooked parts of our aviation heritage. Speakers always welcome questions from Members so it’s a great opportunity to meet and speak with some venerated aviation identities.

Recent speakers have included Peter Isaacson DFM, John Fisher OAM, Macarthur Job OAM, (MORE NAMES TO COME).

Oral History

At most presentations, the AHSA has been able to make audio recordings of the speaker, which have become an invaluable and fascination source of information and opinion, and which are available to members to download as mp3 files. (TBC)
