3 The Arrivals: 205 Squadron RAF by Neil Follett: Details of the flight by 205 Squadron RAF departing from Singapore 15.3.1932 and arriving in Darwin 22.3.1932. The Squadron were flying in three Supermarine Southampton flying boats, S-1127, S-1128 and S-1162. They were accompanied by the German aviator Elli Beinhorn flying her Klemm monoplane.

4 The Starters: Col. JC Fitzmaurice and EW Bonar by Neil Follett: Details of the attempted flight by Colonel James Fitzmaurice and Eric Bonar from Lympne to Darwin in the Bellanca 28/70 EI-AAZ “The Irish Swoop”. They departed Lympne, UK on 29.10.1934 but returned to the UK because of the undercarriage not retracting fully after take-off.

6 Memorial Page: Kalgoorlie Airport, Western Australia by Neil Follett: Memorial at Kalgoorlie Airport for Flight Nurse Judith Osborne, Pilot Arthur Turner, infant patient Stephen Lane and passenger Alexander Coxall who lost their lives in the crash of Piper PA-31 Navajo VH-KMS at Boulder on 30 April 1981.
